Panel discussion “Women in legal professions. Chances and challenges”
European Parliament Liaison Office in Poland
Discussion on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2020 and the screening of a full-length documentary film entitled “RGB”. The film is dedicated to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, judge of the US Supreme Court who worked for women’s rights.
The discussion panel and film screening took place on March 6, 2020 at the Kinoteka cinema in Warsaw.
The event was organized in cooperation with the HER Docs festival.
The event was attended by the Member of the European Parliament, Elżbieta Łukacijewska, a member of the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality in the EP. The debate was moderated by Karolina Głowacka, a journalist at Radio TOK FM.
The discussion panel was attended by:
• Joanna Parafianowicz, lawyer, publisher of the Attorney Room website;
• Katarzyna Gajowniczek-Pruszyńska, lawyer, deputy dean of the District Bar Council in Warsaw;
• Joanna Subko, lawyer, expert on migration and anti-discrimination law;

- Coordination of film show organization
